Analysis of X-rays beams quality in mammographic facilities by development of kVp measurement digital systems (ref. 1,2)

Development of measurement systems designed to evaluate the kVp applied to X-ray tubes in order to be used in mammographic equipment quality assurance programs: (a) penetrameter device, using different absorber materials plus radiographic film; (b) scintillation detector device, based on a NaI(Tl) crystal coupled to a PMT and a treatment electronic circuit.
